Funny you should ask. The 11G was used in a lot of IIci's. In fact, I have the one from my IIci out at the moment (gotta get another PRAM battery and a PS, then reassemble the thing), and it's the 11G version. The MPF-75W is the basic model number. The 11G and 12G are revision codes. If Sony's revision coding is anythin like some other Japanese companies I am familiar with, the 11 and 12 indicates the artwork number (or mechanical drawing number) and the G indicates the form, fit and function compatibility code.
