Re: [Quantum Owners] Re: QOC Website
I had forgotten about frappr too - it looks to be dead now anyway. I have done a search on it, but all links come up with a 404 Not Found The locosters do use google maps with a layer. The map is administrated by one guy for adds/deletes. In the forum, if someone wants their car/location on the map, they post to a specific thread and the admin guy picks it up and adds to the map. Locations are made approximate by the use of towns only. The map is visible to all, but will not come up directly in searches. If you have the link you can see it, no login is required. Seems to work well for that community. [Quantum Owners] Track Day - Cadwell
I am looking at a track day at Cadwell Park on 2nd August - web link below. It is organised by Circuit Days, for a booking of 5 or more they will discount from £169 to £150, if we can get 10 or more I could perhaps get a larger discount. Although a fair drive for a lot of us, Cadwell is a great circuit and one of the most interesting in the UK with plenty of variety; you can access the circuit links and maps from the circuit days site. It is not a power ciurcuit so should be good for our cars, also the noise limit is good at 105db, so no cars (like mine) will fail. They do not charge extra for additional drivers. I have checked with Mark Burley and it will not clash with anything he plans; he may do a Llandow track day in September. http://www.circuit-days.co.uk/tracks.asp If anyone is interested please post here and lets see if we can make it into a great Q day out. Ian, Yes Frapr is dead and you have confirmed what I thought about Google. I am happy to do this if that is what the members want.
