Mine are straight, too, hood sits just a fraction higher than the grp windscreensuuround an a sort of natural stepped way. When nnot enough tension, a gap appears in the middle. My hood sits up at the front and I cannot seem to get it to sit down, never had this problem with my first 2+2. Mine come straight out. My catches are straight, When in place the hood sits just a couple of mil above the fibreglass. Have you checked the position of the locating blocks?
