I had forgotten about frappr too - it looks to be dead now anyway. I have done a search on it, but all links come up with a 404 Not Found The locosters do use google maps with a layer. The map is administrated by one guy for adds/deletes. In the forum, if someone wants their car/location on the map, they post to a specific thread and the admin guy picks it up and adds to the map. Locations are made approximate by the use of towns only. The map is visible to all, but will not come up directly in searches. If you have the link you can see it, no login is required. Seems to work well for that community. Hi Steve. Sounds like a good idea to me. As I've got a few photos I'd probably be best sending you a disc or, if you're at Newark on Sunday, giving you the disc then. In addition to the photos, I've also got my build book which goes from seeing QSC's first drawing of the 2+2 shown to the public, up to my car going on the road. Although it's a mix of photo's and hand written notes, it may be useful for something. I'll scan the pages and include this as well. If I don't see you at Newark, could you e-mail me your address so I can send the disc? The map that I have been playing with is Google with a layer but it looks like I would have to add any members that want to go on the map, which I don't mind, so it is a bit different to Frapr. I'm trying to somehow get control of the domain so I can use alternative DNS servers and point the website at my server so we can have a stable website again. However I'm not having much luck currently. There is a copy of the site ready and waiting, but the cube media portal for maintenance and support is down - their license has expired, so I fear they may have stopped trading.
