That's a good question! I did my research online. There's some good DCOE guides out there. Unless they have been serviced recently, I'd get a service kit for each and work through it. One of the best ways to waste fuel is for the thermostat to stay open. Are the float valves and level set correctly? They can run horribly if these are out as the floats not only shut off the fuel, but set the levels fir the main jets too. How are the spark plugs if you remove them? That will give an indication of how rich it is running.
