[qubes-users] Weird network access issues
Hi, all! I'm experiencing some weird network access issues. I'm using Qubes 3.1. After logging in to the system, sys-net, sys-firewall and sys-whonix start as expected, and network access is normally available. I can use apps such as OwnCloud, qBittorrent, Firefox and others to connect to several internet services and they all work fine. But suddenly, and I just cannot specify when, the apps start to fail connecting. One such app that most catches my attention with respect to the problem is OwnCloud, which reports connection failure -- though other devices such as an Android tablet or even another notebook running Debian, tell me Internet access is absolutely normal, including access to my OwnCloud server. I've already tried restarting the VMs related to network connection -- sys-net and sys-firewall -- but the problem persists, and it's happening with two different notebooks -- an Acer Aspire with Intel Core i7, 10GB RAM, 1TB HD and an unbranded one with equal CPU. 8GB RAM, and 640GB HD. Does anybody have experienced such issues? Does anybody have any hint on what may be the cause of those issues and on how I can solve them? [qubes-users] Node.js global modules
Hi, all! I'm using Qubes 3.1 and I'm new with all this compartimented system idea. I use Node.js for my work and study, and several of its modules should to be installed globally. My question is: Should I install those modules in the VM where I'll use them, or should I install them from the template VM? [qubes-users] OwnCloud-Client - wrong credentials
Hi, all! - Qubes-os 3.1 - debian 8 based vm - owncloud-client 1.77 I can quickly and easily login to my OwnCloud account using a webbrowser, whatever password I set on it, but I just can't connect using owncloud-client 1.77 -- it refuses the connection yelling "Error: Wrong credentials". Does anybody have any hint? TIA, Angico. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] graphical network monitoring applet
Hi, all! I've just got to know and install Qubes and am really excited about it. But I miss some apps from Ubuntu desktop (KDE/LXDE), especially regarding easy and quick visual network monitoring. I use the very nice "gkrellm" app for such things as visual monitoring of network, disks, cpu activity, and am wondering if there's any similar app that I can use in Qubes. Anybody has any hint?
