Re: [Radiant] if_status tag

2008-10-12 Thread Andrew O'Brien
Hey Sean,

My original reason I submitted that ticket/patch was to be able to
conditionally format a layout so that it would be easy to style the
page if it was still a draft on the dev server (e.g. putting a red
border around the body and big text that said DRAFT). This way, my
content creators would remember to set the status to Published when it
was ready to go.

One of the comments asks for r:if_status and r:unless_status tags to
be added as well. It doesn't look like this was done since a second patch
file wasn't attached. Am I incorrect here? I have tried the r:if_status
tag as described in that commend but am getting an invalid tag error.

If I am correct, are there any plans on putting this in soon?

 Many thanks

Re: [Radiant] Radiant T-Shirt design - Please give input!

2008-10-08 Thread Andrew O'Brien
Agreed on the minimalism. Another suggestion for back content:
script/generate hilarious_tshirt_text. Not really Radiant specific,
but you know, it works in our crowd. :)

(And someone let me know if that's been done before – it seems like
someone must have thought of that before, but I haven't seen it yet.)

I'm of the less-is-more school of t-shirt philosophy: big logo, no text,
empty back. This leads the casual observer to wonder: wither your awesome
shirt, sir? leading to inquiry, evangelization, and eventual conversion to
Radiant. (But if we must: how about simply No fluff on the back?)

Re: [Radiant] Re: Shards and Reorder

Are you getting any javascript errors? Are you sure the extension's
javascript files were moved into public (usually through the update
rake task)?

Actually page_attachment works wonderfully in 0.6.5 ... However the
 interface is a little unorthodox.

Re: [Radiant] Shards and Reorder

2008-04-07 Thread Andrew O'Brien
Hey everyone,

I had this problem a couple of days ago: The Reorder extension from
trunk (or at least from git, which I assume mirrors trunk) uses the
Rails 2 view naming convention. You'll need to install the latest RC
of 0.6.5 (where we upgrade to Rails 2) in order to get Reorder to
work.

There's an order version for 0.6.4, but I think it included drag'n
drop functionality that was kinda broken. My recommendation is to
install the latest Radiant.

Is there something else I need to do besides the rake tasks? Shards and
reorder are both showing installed in the radiant extensions admin.
