(RADIATOR) SNMP errors update

1999-07-01 Thread Richard Hawley

I think I fixed the SNMP errors. I downloaded the patches-2.13.1.tar.gz file and
installed that in the source directory and reinstalled. The SNMP errors stopped.
However, I'm
getting another error/warning now. Every couple of minutes, I get this error:

Timeout: No Response from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

What is timing out? The ip address is one of my NAS's.

Its a bit hard to say without seeing your log file or config file, but my best
guess is that you have your Radiator configured for strong sim-use protection
(ie you have MaxSessions or Simultaneous-Use, _and_ you have specified a
NasType for that client). Radiator is probably trying to contact the NAS to
confirm a multiple login, and SNMP is timing out. You will need to investigate
and fix that.

Cheers.
