The only time my sb Radio has crashed is using the Spotify App it seems a rather regular occurrence. And usually as you say when skipping tracks. I also find the App is rather limited at the moment, no Artist radio etc. I also pointed out in another thread " I just tried Pink Floyd most tracks come up with "This track is not available in your region" Xavier Rudd Koonyum Sun ect "This track is not available in your region" Yet I can play them on the Pc Spotify app and on the squeezebox through Napster !! There is a known crash but it is very hard to reproduce and track down. I can't help right now (I'm skiing, no Radio) but I do remember that I saw some crashes with Radio and Spotify, too, when testing. [SlimDevices: Radio] Radio hangs SB Server
I'm having an issue where my SB Radio (7.5.3 latest) is causing all my SB servers (Touch and 2 PCs running Win7 x64) to hang. At first I thought the issue was the TinySB on the Touch, but now I'm having the same issue with my 2 PCs. Both PCs are wired, and the Radio is wireless with a 100% signal. I'll start the SB server and connect the radio (switch library). Within a few minutes the SB server will start consuming 50% CPU and become unresponsive to requests. I can restart the server (I actually have to terminate the process from task manager, or in the case of the Touch, reboot) but within a few minutes of reconnecting the server will hang. I've reset the radio to factory defaults and I'll do some more testing tonight. The radio seems to work fine when connected to mysqueezebox.com so I don't understand why it is hanging my local servers. [SlimDevices: Radio] Spotify App crashing Radio?
Can anyone using Logitechs Spotify-App on his Radio help me reproducing a bug for Logitech Support? I have a user that reports crashes, when he skips tracks too fast and I'm wondering if anyone else can reproduce it. I'm very sure this is not a problem of using SqueezePad but some other error in the Radio firmware. For some reason it does not seem to happen, when using the Radio directly (at least that's what the user is reporting), so please try whatever other remote available. Here are some possible scenarios to test: A) Radio connected to MySqueezebox.com, create a playlist using Logitechs Spotify App, then use the MySqueezeBox.com (Web) remote and skip about 20-30 tracks in a fast pace. B) Radio connected to local Squeezebox-Server, create a playlist using Logitechs Spotify App, then use the Squeezebox-Server web-interface, skip 20-30 tracks in a fast pace C) Radio (connected to any server) remote controlled with a Duet-Controller. Again load a Spotify playlist and try to make your Radio reboot by skipping several tracks in fast order. I guess it's very easy to verify if this happens to more than one user. Please also report, when you are not able to reproduce a crash and what Radio firmware you are using.
