Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Squeezebox Radio shows splitting some albums into two albums
Well I tried the MP3tag on one album that is splitting into two on the Squeezebox. The MP3 tags, are all ID3v2.3. I'm attaching a screen shot. The album (A.I) has the title "The Mecha World" in one album and the other three titles in another A.I album. I just don't see what the problem is. Both WMP and Media Monkey show onle 1 A.I album. Any other help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Toby, but that did not work either. Steve, I must looking at the SBR in dim light because I cannot find a "Stop" button. Thanks for trying, isr, but that sequence does not result in a return of the artwork. I am sorry, my explanation was wrong, I was not near the SBR and I forgot the existence of 'play' button which must NOT be used :-) So please try this: push '+' then rotate the knob till you reach 'play'-line, then push the knob. Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Radio tower constantly showing
It's a mySB.com issue for sure. I gave up a while back and conceded to having my own server. I bought an eMachine for $350 and use the Server Power Control add-in to sleep the machine when it doesn't have an active connection. While it does solve a lot of problems, you really should be able to count on "SB in the Cloud". Here's one more thing to try to get the artwork. While playing the stream press Home, Stop (long press pause), select Now Playing, and then Play. This is only practical if you listen to the same steam for a long period of time. If you are jumping around it's too much overhead. Of course it isn't possible. Either it is a song you own (but didn't realise) or it had an Internet connection. -- andynormancx Yes, it will. Yes, all of them. Yes, SoftSqueeze as well. What ? Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] SqueezeBox Radio battery kit avalible
I just finished building my pack using the Sanyo 2700 mAh batteries listed above. Seems to work great. My first test yielded a playing time of 10 hours 49 minutes (streaming FLACs). Charging took several hours. Interestingly, the pack slowly heated to 45C which triggered forced a pause in the charging. Afterwards, the pack fully charged. I've read that the charging circuit / algorithm is pretty smart and I believe it! Pictures and such are here: http://www.cuttingthebills.com/2011/03/diy-high-capacity-battery-pack-for.html Loving the truly portable radio so far!
