Hi Folks Success! I didn't need to delete the cache... I just took your advice and waited a while! Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] iPlayer suddently stopped working
Hello-here in Vancouver-the ex-colony in Canada-I replaced the BBCXMLParser.pm file with the one cited above but with no luck. Deleted the cache.db file, same result. Will wait for dust to settle a few days. The listen live feeds all work fine-it's just the "Listen Again". I'm on Windows 7 and have a couple of Logitech Booms. Thanks for taking time to answer. Yes I restarted whole system-LMS is set to restart on reboot. Tried again after your note-same result-not playing "Listen Again" although libraries appear to be working across BBC feeds. Frank, if it is the Listen again in the BBCiPlayer, why not try and download the complete patch http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=19095=1446031140 Stop LMS, replace all the files, delete the cache.db and then restart LMS. You will have to re-select any BBCiPlayer favourites that you have, but that's about all, I guess. How's your weather today? Ronnie. [SlimDevices: Radio] iPlaye suddently stopped workingr
HI Guys It's Saturday 31st, and for the past 3-4 days, whenever I try and load any past BBC radio programmes into the Radio using the 'BBC iPlayer' plugin, I get the message ' nothing in playlist' (the message pops up briefly and disappears). The album art for the radio program is showing, it's just nothing will play). I've not changed anything at my end - and the other plugin: 'iPlayer Extras' works fine. Any suggestions on what I might look at, to check what's going wrong? Thanks Steve StevePalmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104555 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Thanks. I downloaded full patch as suggested and at same time updated Triode's version to the alpha version you mentioned. Same result. I'm outside the UK and Listen Again anbd live play ok. If you want help - give details. It's is not possible to figuire out proiblem without details. Are you using Windows as well ? Any errors in the log file ? Do programs appear in the Listen Again menus ? If so are they playable (i.e have a play icon ) ? When you try to play the program what error message is shown ? Any other symptoms such as does the timer start and reset after 5 secs bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104555 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

A chromecast audio is more to help this community rather than for my own use, hence I'm trying to understand other developers objectives. Having said that, I'm still trying to properly understand the working model/protocol of such chromecast audio devices. Seems to me, reading that example and what you wrote in other threads, that I don't need to touch anything on the device itself, no need to write a receiver app, the default one is all I want. The controls (start/stop ...) seems to be very simple, although I'm still not very clear what the device expects from the server to retrieve the audio stream/data. I'm learning slowly, knowing that this is not my best domain of expertise and the time I can allocated to it is limited. For that sake, the libupnp what a savior on my UPnPBridge application LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2.
