The strange thing is that it appears to still charge sometimes and can play for a couple hours when it does. It's like the Radio is getting false readings from the sensors. Just ran an quick test. The Radio has been plugged in to the wall for days, I don't think I've played it all recently. First, I checked the power info: Wall voltage: 17.7V Charger state: Battery not charging Battery temperature: 29.5C Battery voltage: 13.4V Battery vmon1: 3.9V Battery vmon2: 7.7V Then I unplugged it. It didn't instantly shut off, but after a few seconds displayed the 'Battery low' screen and wouldn't do anything. So I plugged it back into the wall and it showed the small charging indicator. I just turned on my Squeezebox tonight and had the same issue. Did a search on the forum for the problem and found your post JJZolx. My thought is that the battery has probably at the end of it's life. It's seldom used these days on battery power. Decided I would start using it again as a portable and it did just as you described JJZolx. Great, some real progress. I will download the sources and have a look. It might be that we have to compare and substitute decompiled code for the 6003 related code. Perhaps 6002 vs 6003 device specific code might not be so critical if the issue is how the chip and driver is monitoring, reporting, and reacting to packet loss issues. Also, the problem might lie partially in the CPU code, which is another matter. Some critical questions are: how is the system getting disrupted, how does that cause a failure, why are the chip and driver not taking effective countermeasures, and why is the driver not reporting failure to the supplicant or other layer? I spent quite a while searching for "the full log, not just where bitbake failed." I have not found it. Where might it be? Here is the latest console session plus the indicated failure log appended 31700. If this is insufficient, I need some help to find the full log. BTW, the TL-WN722N v1 usb adapter uses the Atheros AR9271 ath9k [phy1] chip, which can operate in monitor mode, but not as a spectrum analyzer. This would require the discontinued and rare $500 Wi-Spy DBx device. Its looking like 80's HP spectrum analyzer and camera for me, although perhaps I could down convert into an RTL-SDR... This might even work if a disruptive non-WiFi signal is strong enough. BTW also, I am new to WiFi hacking. Does anyone have any experience with WiFi sniffing? What is the best way to use aircrack-ng and / or other packages to identify packets that might be causing trouble? Also, any pointers to WiFi tech tutorials? Both packets and software. Thank you. First step is to choose a system to run it on Download LMS https://mysqueezebox.com/download Probably choose a Windows PC or MAC to and then show that it solves your problem. Then on your Squeezebox, use the remote control to tell it to access your new LMS if it does not find it by itself. Ideally you would have a system running 24*7 to host LMS - so that you can be sure that whenever you want to hear something the server is immediately available. Some people do this by installing on a Raspberry Pi (search for more info) or a local NAS (network attached storage) or a network router running 3rd-party operating system(although I suspect that is happening less nowadays). I have a squeezebox and a UE smart radio. Over the last few months I am unable to pick up stations that I did before on both. Some of the messages I get on the UE are: Error: no items found in playlist Http://opml.radiotime.com.. Connection reset by remote host https://media-ssl.musicradio.com... HTTP/1.1 404 Not found https://solid24.streamupsolutions.com/proxy...
