Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Wi-Fi 6
My take is our beloved devices are now super old devices and have compatibility issues with newer routers. You could try disabling WiFi6 (if you do not need it, e.g. if you really do not have any WiFi6 capable client).that may resolve the problem..like it did for my XT8 pair. Unfortunately, for me, the whole point of upgrading my router was to get WiFi 6. I do have two gamer dudes in the house, who have very capable PCs Another thing is you could try is if by mistake or otherwise, you have WPA3/WPA2 enabled (instead of just WPA2). Another thingseparate the bands..although that did not help me. YMMVgood luck! If nothing works, and you HAVE to keep the new routersjust setup a wifi network for just these two SB radiosusing the old router.daisy chained after the new router..that was my backup plan. bobharp wrote: > I'm having the same issue with my SB Radio. > I've recently upgraded my home WiFi access points (a pair of EnGenius > EWS357AP). > These are dual band AX WiFi 6 devices. > > Oddly my SB Boom had no issues connecting to my new access points. > - the display on my Boom is so faded finding that inputting my WPA2 > passphrase was quite a chore! > > I ssh'd into the SB Radio and confirmed that the passphrase is correct. > (e.g. cat /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf). > The SB Radio gets a DCHP IP address. > > Any thoughts? rajdude's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71085 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112167 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Wi-Fi 6
I'm having the same issue with my SB Radio. I've recently upgraded my home WiFi access points (a pair of EnGenius EWS357AP). These are dual band AX WiFi 6 devices. Oddly my SB Boom had no issues connecting to my new access points. - the display on my Boom is so faded finding that inputting my WPA2 passphrase was quite a chore! I ssh'd into the SB Radio and confirmed that the passphrase is correct. (e.g. cat /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf). The SB Radio gets a DCHP IP address. Any thoughts? [SlimDevices: Radio] No artwork old bug
Hi, I've had this bug for years. After a while after I rebooted the Radio, artwork won't show up anymore. I don't know why it happens, maybe it happens more often after using a plugin like spotty or pocketcasts, or streaming with DLNA, but not sure. This bug also prevents the radio from going in standby mode. I can't even force the standby remotely. Button on the radio still works. Also sometimes it makes the music stop after a few seconds or minutes. I know, it's a mess. I've been rebooting the radio often over the years. I tried a complete reinstall of LMS, the radio firmware, and I'm now on the modified firmware found here. Nothing helps. Thanks for reading, happy to hear any suggestions Bipox's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65169 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113777 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Cannot Connect to mysqueezebox.com from Squeezebox Radio
I have two SBTs. LMS 7.9 runs on a Windows 10 PC. I can play all radio stations available through LMS. However, when the PC (and LMS is not running) I CAN connect to mysqueezebox.com and play those radio stations on one SBT but CANNOT do the same on the other SBT. Both SBTs are running 7.8.0. The SBT that won't connect to mysqueezebox.com will try to connect to mysqueezebox.com and fail, OR, it will try to connect to the music folder on the local win machine that had LMS running (and obviously also fail because LMS is not running). syrah's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=54856 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108930 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
