Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Upgrade SB Radio to UE Radio
Hello, I have a problem whose solution is perhaps to migrate to UE RADIO. I've had my squeezebox for 10 years and mostly listen to internet radio and podcasts. For the past few months, several stations have stopped working. But if I listen to them with tune in on a PC, it works. the station still exist Maybe it's related to the squeezebox? Could someone who has already migrated to UE radio tell me if the French station "RMC" is working. This test would allow me to know if it works and therefore to migrate to UE. Thank you in advance for your help. gly's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=47908 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96256 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

To help rule out possible sources of the problem, I suggest connecting the radio direct to your main router via ethernet cable that is known to be reliable, ie bypass the netgear extender. (once I had a cable that was intermittently bad, drove me crazy trying to figure out the problem.) 'This' (https://myvolts.co.uk/product/7593/UK_18V_Power_Adaptor_for_the_Logitech_Squeezebox-Radio_Music-Player_by_myVolts) is what I got in June, but I imagine there are other alternatives out there. Also, be aware, not the same as a Receiver PSU, which can also be found. It's been replaced by a Netgear that's solid on the wifi. When the Radio boots, it has a <...> connection and everything works great. After a few hours it becomes a blue circle and it all goes to hell. I suppose I could just reboot it every time I want to us it, but that seems a right pain.
