Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Synchronization works nicely with the Radio

2009-09-16 Thread SuperQ

hah, that's pretty awesome.

I take it the software player in the radio is doing some time-slew to
get them in sync?

Can you post a little more about the battery? Is it a generic type of
pack used by other devices?

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] I live in San Francisco - Where can I go buy one NOW?

2009-10-22 Thread SuperQ

You could always go down to Mountain View and pick one up will-call from
the main office. You will need to make an online order from
www.logitechsqueezebox.com.

Since Best Buy doesn't have them anymore, your only option is probably
Fry's. There arn't any good electronics stores in SF, you have to go
out to the burbs for that stuff. Except maybe Central Computers on
Howard.

Unfortunately, it seems like Best Buy is completely dropping the
Squeezebox lineup. They didn't even have any in stock last time I was
at a store a few weeks ago. The sales people also indicated that they
weren't going to stock them at all, and wanted to show me these nice
sony products.

Bleh!

Sounds like a crappy station to me. Try this one:

(The Current plays great music)

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Tone Control missing on $200 Radio?

2010-01-01 Thread SuperQ

I checked the bug database and I don't see any open bugs for changing
tone controls.

I would file a feature request: https://bugs.slimdevices.com

The radio's source is open, if you're interested in adding the feature.

As far as I know, the power supply is variable voltage input. It
should work anywhere in the world as long as the plug adapter is the
right version.

It seems like Bosnia is on the European standard continental plug,
which usually means 220v @60hz. This should be fine.

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Squeezebox Radio is quite buggy

It sounds like you are having wifi connectivity issues to me. What wifi
router are you using? What channel is it on? What security method are
you using? When you say off, do you mean the radio in standby or are
you turning off your wifi router?

I don't have a radio so I can't try to reproduce your problems. :(

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] working perfectly

Most people find that they work perfectly. If they didn't Logitech
would be out of business.

Most people come to forums like this because they are having problems.
This is a very small minority of the users.

It doesn't really matter because squeezebox server will automatically
downsample files to the maximum supported by each player.
