My Pandora worked up to 12/28/17. Then I went to Vegas and logged on & played Pandora on the smart TV at Cosmopolitan. When I came back on 1/2/18, my Pandora stopped working. Reading more in detail, I'm confused. Is SqueezeRadio going to stay while the Boom, the Touch are going to be gone? If so, I can understand why Logi is keeping the SqueezeRadio. I love the album art that flashes on the radio screen. I've bought my radio everywhere in my apartmenteven on the toilet...where creative flowsliterally speaking. I can check my Facebook and look at Flickr pictures while in the bathroom and having music blasting. So I really love this little thing that has such a big sound. If you read my old posts, you've seen I returned the boom after trying out the radio. And there's that hope that with the open system, anyone can customize the radio to do the things they want. For me, it's recording and auto scanning. Yes...definitely you can save podcasts as favorites but there's a even better way. Go into My Apps and select the Podcast app. Then copy the link of your favorite podcast and paste into that as Example: Steve Preston show podcasts here, just copy and paste this feed as is and when you play it on your SqueezeRadio, you can forward, reverse or skip to next podcast...really awesome. http://feeds.feedburner.com/PrestonAndStevePodcast; Or you can individually paste each individual show as a favorite and delete it after you heard it...which is really hard work. Exact same conditions (Firmware, Datacenter). My no artwork on the radio station situation was originally a nusiance problem. But it's been going on for a year (or 2 firmware updates) that it's beginning to bug the hell out of me. There's no logic. I've read the other posts (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=698944#post698944). Has anyone gotten any ideas what is causing it. I thought it was TuneIn problem before but after seeing the same conditions at Best Buy, I'm convinced TuneIn has nothing to do with it since the radio station LOGO is OK in both cases. But what the hell is causing the problem? The conditions are exactly the same on both my home and Best Buy side. And as always, Pandora and other apps have no artwork problems; only the internet radio stations linked to TuneIn. OK...this is really crazy and doesn't have any logic but it works! I copied http://nick9.surfernetwork.com/WAYV; into my browser and I elected to launched Window Media Player (WMP) and it streamed. Then I went into WMP properties and found http://nick9.surfernetwork.com/WAYV?MSWMExt=.asf; as the url. http://dar.fm/streamadd.php Next, I went to DAR.fm and tried to enter that url for recording but it came back with an error: URLs must include a .pls or .m3u extension. Examples: http:///wtor.birach.com:9006/listen.pls; OR http://www.radioparadise.com/musiclinks/rp_64aac.m3u; So I changed the url to http://nick9.surfernetwork.com/WAYV?MSWMExt=.pls; and it was accepted and it also launched WMP and streamed WAYV. This may not help but I had called BlogTalkRadio training when they had their developer on the show and asked them how come they got rid of the link that would have allowed me to play their podcast one after another. Either the developer did not know or I got the run around but they never put it back on any of their shows. I have the original from my show and I put it in as one of my favorites. Also CBS owns LastFM and we all know how that went. I always thought Clear Channel was the evil one. 1. TuneIn (aka. RadioTime) was told by Clear Channel to disable their recording app on the iPad so now you can't record any Clear Channel Stations on the iPad. Probably the same thing happened here so there is something flaky about depending another portal instead of having Logitech getting a direct stream. RadioTime is probably collecting data on everyone's listening habits. DAR.fm luckily does not take orders from CBS or Clear Channel. 2. Let's see how long before streamworld cloaks their streams. Here's an email I wrote to Spirit of New York (advertiser) about CBS-FM. Please feel free to use it as a template if you want to notify advertisers in your area: Dear Ms. ___, Since I've heard the _ commercials on in _, I can assume you must be an advertiser. I thought you would like to know that CBS has blocked all it's internet stream on the Logitech Squeezebox. This means all CBS affiliates across the country will no longer stream on the internet. Confirmed...updated to 7.6.0 and the radio tower disappeared. Additionally, my 3d party Weather App also disappeared. This is an example where you should not accept updates until the bugs have been worked out. What's worse is I can't return to my previous firmware, 7.5.3 (???). Should have known from lesson learned when accepted updated from yahoo's new calendar...decision everyone regretted. Same experience here. Pandora has no problem with the artworks. All my radio stations now are just the radio tower. I think it's a RadioTime/TuneIn problem but no one will know until someone from Logitech or RadioTime is interviewed. Something funky with DAR. I had my normal recording scheduled but seems when DAR can't record, it repeats itself to record...over and over (see screenshot). Also DAR was down for maintenance over the holiday weekend but it kept on scheduling recordings but recordings were not made and it just looped itself. Did anyone else not get their recordings on their SqueezeRadio today? Very strange. 2 scheduled recordings I made Tuesday morning never made it to my SqueezeRadio (SR) plus they were not in my MP3Locker either. Later I tested by scheduling 2 more recordings at the same time but difference stations. Very strange, all my recordings are gone on the SR now. But they are all there in my DAR.fm account. Is this a Squeezebox or DAR problem? To be continued. PROs: 1. Recording is stored on MP3Tunes Locker in sippets with labels of the name of songs or Break if there's commercials. 2. Cloud storage on MP3Tunes.com. Playback anytime, anywhere. 3. You can play back on your Squeezebox thus freeing your computer. 4. It is the closest thing to a Radio Tivo. RadioTime has recorder apps for iPhones but has suspended their Red Button recorder software. 5. This is the next killer app! This is the first of it's kind! There's rumors there will be a DAR.fm button on the next generation of Squeezebox. CONs: 1. Recording in MP3Locker sippets is hard to keep track of. There's no time log of the overall time recorded. 2. Limited radio stations in DAR.fm database. You can't add Favorite like in your Squeezebox but you can submit a new radio station URL stream. 3. Radio stream URL must include a .pls or .m3u extension (http://www.dar.fm/streamadd.php). This is no good since most streams URL are hidden, which RadioTime has been able to figure out but not reveal. 4. Recording schedule is hourly and by hourly increments only. 5. There's no indication how much of your free 2GB MP3Tunes locker storage you have left. Here's some problems I've run into in your DAR database. Your database
doesn't have a station I wanted to record so I'm submitting a URL. As
an example, I need submit Hawk 99.9 but their player is a pop up.
There's no URL or I can't find one that fits your requirement (m3u or
pls). I tried submitting RadioTime URL but your website
(http://www.dar.fm/streamadd.php) won't accept it. It came back with
Malformed stream URL or wrong file type. PLS or M3U only. Fix and
re-try.. So my question is where or how do I find the appropriate
stream URL for Hawk 99.9?

I returned the Radio after this message was posted but not before doing a quick check in the server. Didn't work. Between that time, bought a Boom and returned it. Now it's back to the Radio. Didn't work last week but tonight, went into my account (MySqueezeBox) and noticed after authorizing your account on Flickr, there is a button to confirm the authorization. I swear this was not there before so it must be recently added by the developers. Anyways, by clicking it, my pictures are now streaming along with the music on the SqueezeRadio. It's awesome! Also, noticed after adding my account, there is button asking if I wanted to add another account. It's just like adding the Favorites icon. So you have an endless supply of slideshows while listening to your music.
