Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] All alarms firing 10 hours early
M2P doesnt perform automatic updates, so nothing could change there. Timezone was most certainly set to etc/GMT-5. It was acting like +5, though. The question remains, why did it spontaneously change? It can remain unanswered. Everything worked properly this AM, so Im happy. ~dk dkfackler's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59286 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113934 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] All alarms firing 10 hours early
It WAS a timezone issue. I'm not sure why things went sideways two days ago, but it's working now. I changed the time zone in Max2Play from "GMT-5", where it's been for my entire Max2Play experience, to "America, New York"-- which is the same as GMT-5-- and the log files now have the proper time stamp(instead of time + ten hours). Two test alarms have run properly. Still bumfuzzled, but it's sorted. Agreed-- it DOES seem like a timezone issue. That's why I've verified proper TZ on all devices, routers, access points and the LMS. i must be missing something, but it's escaping me. [SlimDevices: Radio] All alarms firing 10 hours early
Subject says it all. My SB radios suddenly started firing all alarms ten hours early. Ive verified proper time zone settings on all SB devices, routers, and my Max2Play server(Pi3). Ive deleted and reentered all alarms, rebooted everything, shut off all alarms on all but one device and done everything else that occurred to me. Short of changing the alarm times by ten hours, which would be confusing, does anyone have suggestions? Any help appreciated. [SlimDevices: Radio] Pre-release hardware SB radio battery wierdness
Hello fellow Squeezers! My second SB radio is of the 'pre-release hardware' iteration. I recently got a battery, but after charging overnight, the SB runs only about five minutes, then goes into an endless loop of reboots. When this happens, it takes the three other devices(another SB, a Boom and a Raspberry PI running Max2Play) down as well. If it's plugged into AC, all is well. I've exchanged that battery for another, but the problem persists. This SB is less than portable with this condition. Any ideas are appreciated. [SlimDevices: Radio] Strange message on startup...
Greetings, Squeezers! I just picked up another SB radio. Upon startup the following appears: "Pre-release hardware beta 2.xx Some features may not work." Everything I've tried works-- alarms, faves, apps, LMS, networking, etc. It added to my SB account without a hiccup, unlike the Boom acquired in December. Firmware is 'up to date' according to the radio when I try to perform an update. Is this an escapee from the Logitech development labs? Very curious. [SlimDevices: Radio] Can't connect to mysqueezebox.com after 'restore factory settings'
I've been fighting a spontaneous 3AM SBR onslaught. One suggestion was to restore factory settings, so have done that and now can't connect to my squeezebox.com. That menu item isn't anywhere to be found. This is a UE Smartradio that has been improved by downgrading the firmware to SBR. That operation was performed in March, and all has been well until now. The first screen after bootup is Logitech, not UE, so I would guess that the older firmware is still booting. Suggestions? I have noticed, however, that if the SB is connected to 'mysqueezebox', this doesn't happen. My local music library is streamed via LMS and a Raspberry Pi. AFAIK, my router doesn't refresh anything at 3AM, so there must be something going on with the Pi. Any suggestions? I'm running the latest version of squeezeplug.
