Hi Razzak,

I removed the two fonts in that folder and re-booted my laptop but still no 
luck with the first three items on the Help menu. The tutorial works 
though. Is there any difference in the 'mechanism' for running the help 
files ?  (The chm files are exactly the same as the ones on the laptop 
where Help does work.)

Thanks for your reply. RBase is on the D drive. (I have a C & D on this 
laptop.)

I did install a new font a while ago so I will try that later. (Just off 
out now - already late)  I will let you know if that solves the issue.

or perhaps a network shared drive?


Do you have custom fonts installed on the computer? Navigate to the 
"C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Fonts\" location 
and remove any custom fonts loaded in the folder.

Hi Anthon,

Thanks for your reply. The .chm files are in the same folder as the 
RBGX5E.EXE file. They open via Windows Explorer using the MS HTML Help 
Executable but not via RBase.  Something is awry but I have no idea what 
that is
