Re: [RBW] Another casual Saturday ride in So Cal
That Atlantis seems to have a custom fork. What is it? I like how the rack looks on the bike as well. Nice photos! Rene: Yes, it's a Tom Matchak fork, 40 mm trail. E-mail direct if you have questions. Please don't let this start yet another trail thread. Thanks for the thoughts on the rack. Rackage'n'baggage are much more interesting topics than frame geometry. dougP On Tuesday, May 14, 2013 7:43:39 AM UTC-7, René wrote: That Atlantis seems to have a custom fork. What is it? [RBW] Another casual Saturday ride in So Cal
Hugh on his Hilsen I on my Atlantis, off for a fun filled Saturday adventure. With an average grade of minus 3% and a 2,000' elev loss, this 48 mile ride should have been a day at the beachNOT! Pictures prove we really did it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pedalpusher61/8732609472/in/photostream/ There were, to use cyclotourist's term, grades of significance. Absolutely stunning views from the top'o'the hill. The Antelope Valley in one direction all of LA, right out to PV peninsula, in the other. We were riding thru the area devastated by the Station Fire in 2009, as evidenced by the burned trees. However, life is a tough thing Hugh got lots of good photos of Indian paintbrush, etc, that is blooming this time of year. All the photowork is Hugh's; plagiarism is my contribution. dougP -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group.
