I was wondering what size, but forgot you mentioned that in the original post. Too bad they are 700c! Or I could take pics of them riding around here in Maryland! I only have 650b bikes. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group. I would take them on the leg from north San Diego. Sounds like a fun idea. [RBW] Re: Rivendell Speedblend tires! Wanna try them?
Resolved: These Speedblends will become the unofficial Riv Bunch Traveling Tires. I'll pass them to Joe Bunik (by way of private message and in-person delivery) and he can then pass them along to Joe Bernard or to anyone else on this thread. How about each rider holds the tires for roughly 50 miles and/or two weeks, maximum? That way, they'll keep moving. And, yes, please post a picture of the tires wherever they go. In the pictures at the top of this thread, the tires are in Russian Hill, San Francisco. (Not much of a vista, I know. But the tires hadn't yet started their world tour.) Btw, I talked to Grant about Speedblends back then. The hope was to get an auto tire manufacturer to snap up the idea..at the time some of the Asian brands were doing colored stripes on the treads for the Honda Civic kids.
