Here's what to do. She has put this Rambouillet out in the marketplace, and that means that we have an opportunity to contribute to its "value." Just get in there and bid on it. The brake bridge was a little off, slightly high. Sheldon's elegant fix was to use 27 inch wheels. Other work arounds are possible for use with 700c wheels. I contemplated making Sheldon an offer for it, but it's a bit small for me. A few months later, I purchased a Rivendell Custom in my size on the iBob list. Yea, from what I've read it is his wife. She has been periodically listing his bikes and some random items. I completely agree with you David. Each time I see one of his bikes up, I always head to his archives (again) to check out the specs and it's always read with a heavy heart. My wife and I have talked about it a bit, and we've both come to the conclusion that it's something we don't want to have to do anytime soon (to say the least).
