Hi Minh, It should be fine with aluminum fenders. I installed the light+hot wire and then checked to make sure it all worked before cutting ground wire. Hi Shoji, Thanks for this link, i had not seen it before. in this example, isn't he basically running a wire from the fork to the bottom bracket, and then only running 1 wire to the rear light (for power). so by screwing into the bottom bracket, will the rear tail light ground through the mounting stud? what if i'm using aluminum fenders, won't i then need to run a ground wire all the way to the light? Hi Minh, To ground at the back of the bike, you can attach it to, for example, the bottom bracket cable guide, the fender mount point (near the bottom bracket), the downtube cable stop.
