The Sam is beautiful!

This yellow is among my top very favorite colors on a Rivendell. It somehow
feels both classic and modern at the same time.

Thanks for the photos.

[RBW] Yves Gomez PBH range?

2015-08-20 Thread Jack B
I have a line on a used 60 cm Yves Gomez frame.

Anyone know the range of PBH that would be comfy for a rider on this frame?
Hoping to build this up for my wife who is 6'-0" tall (though I don't know
her PBH offhand).

thanks,
Jack

[RBW] Yves Gomez gets his groove back

2013-02-11 Thread Phillip Hathaway
After a cold Colorado January contemplating the many directions I could
take my Yves I embraced Just Ride and purchased a new set of Bosco bars and
moved my shifters to the stem. The results have been subtle and
transformative. The slight rise in position has given me a whole new
comfort level that wasn't there with the albas and bar ends as well as an
aggressive spot down by the stem. Last week's warm spell yielded four
lunchtime rides in addition to my short commute that confirmed Cosmopolitan
Yves has got his groove back. Pictures here for those interested.

Now if anyone has a green B17 special i'll be done fooling around and ready
for a Spring S24O.

Re: [RBW] Yves Gomez

2011-04-11 Thread Rene Sterental
I ride a Betty and love it. Mostly short rides around town and share
it with my daughters when they feel like riding. Actually, they
haven't ridden it yet as one's in college and the other hardly rides.

I thought about siting extra for the Yves paint, but just loved the
Betty's colors so much and knew my girls would live it too.

[RBW] Yves Gomez fenders

2009-07-20 Thread reidplum

Looking at the RBW web site at the pictures for the Yves Gomez model.
It appears to have gold-ish (anodized?) colored fenders. Anyone know
what those are and where I could find a set? Thanks for any info.
