ps - I buy Calida cotton boxers on sierratradingpost for about $10/ - they
have the least-obnoxious waistband of any boxers

But for wicking sweat and preventing chaffing of your soft tissues, nothing
beats merino.

Wow, myself being very non-metro only wears multi-pack Fruit of the Loom

Re: [RBW] Organic Cotton Boxer Briefs for riding recommendations?

2016-01-19 Thread Patrick Moore
My long rides are your short rides, but I use poly cotton and nylon boxers
and they work fine as long as they are loose enough; the test: I don't
think about them. Low humidity here, of course.

I daresay that organic cotton ones will act much like poly cotton ones.

Again, I think that success depends on a loose, full cut. I wear them under
cotton khaki shorts in summer, under wool knickers and synthetic tights
(loose ones) in winter. Tighter undies, cotton and nylon, short or longer
legs, bound and chafed.

I wear cotton and bamboo/cotton also all winter here in Ohio. well
summer too even in the heat/humidity. I don't even own any wool shirts,
lol. I've tried some but none of them fit they way I like and if clothing
doesn't fit/feel just right I won't wear it regardless of the fabric. To me
any and all fabric can be both over and under rated , just depends on the
person.

Yep STP is a great place to find closeouts on just the ones you may like at
a reduced price. When I find something I really like I'll often buy more,
sometimes many more than just one ! It's fun to know when not to buy, and
when to buy alot when the opportunity arises !
