[TANKS] Re: M113 design progress

2009-10-27 Thread Ben Holko
go back a couple of posts and you will see the cost.

I might add, those costs include the cost of the material (they supplied the
steel, beat that).

they measure cost on the material obviously, unless you supply your own, and
the length of time that your job occupies the machine. The formula is unknown
to us mere mortals and would no doubt be their trade secret, but that is how
they calculate it.

How much does that LASER cutting cost and how is the cost measured? (eg length
of cut total, time to cut etc.)

Usually others wanted 80 - 100 dollars minimum, these guys wanted 50

Being local is also a bonus, funny thing is the dxf files get sent

Their philosophy is if they take the small jobs they hopefully will get

[TANKS] Tank parts for sale or trade?

2009-10-27 Thread Stephen Cobb

I have not found anywhere that sells tanks parts for large scale
tanks. I was wondering if there was a place or if maby we could just
start one on here.

For example I have 2 ryobi 18v motors that I will not need but someone
will that builds tanks... I would like to trade these off for
something that I could use.

How and where can I do part swaping that is tank specific?
