Re: [TANKS] Re: Upcoming Battle
Agent "Smith", Please address me in the future by my proper rank of Oberst. Tri-Pact surveillance drones did snap this picture. We have reason to believe he is the brains behind the disappearance of the Abomination. Also, please do not assume the driving limitations (500 ft) of your vehicle also applies to the cruising range of T-79. The Abomiation had recently, last fall, been outfitted with a hydrogen fuel cell to keep the drive batteries at full power. Thanking you in advance for your compliance. Re: [TANKS] Re: Upcoming Battle
Mr. Pitteli, May I politely reprimand you in assuming "Smith" is my real name. Our agents rarely give out information leading to their real identity. But, for ease in communication between our agencies, "Smith" will do. In advising me that Canada is still a winter wonderland, may I advise you, sir. Our contact there has reported beautiful weather with temps around 70. Hardly winter, wouldn't you say? Of course, your report may just be a farce in an attempt to freeze (pun intended) our attempts to recover Mr. Johann's tank. May I also add that our agency has never been one of idleness. If we were to wait for the barbarians to cross the border it might be too late for Mr. Johann to make an appointment he has made with said tank. We will try to cooperate with your team of 'retrievers' as much as possible. I will send out a notice to our agents in the area to supply you with pastured raised, GMO free, beyond organic, "Smith" Family farm chicken to supplement with your lobster rations. Be forewarned it's gd. Agent "Smith" -- -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group. Re: [TANKS] Re: Upcoming Battle
Mr. Smith (assuming that's your real name), Please be advised that it is still winter in Canada. You may want to consider having your agents wait further south of the wall and intercept the Northern Barbarians as they come south for a holiday weekend in balmy Pennsylvania. In addition to your operations, Tri-Pact ASM will be sending a team of well-trained retrievers to Maine over the next couple weeks to search for missing asset. We intend to live off the land (aka. lobster rolls) as much as possible. Security is a never ending task. [TANKS] Re: Upcoming Battle
Dear Mister Johann, I've been going over the evidence with my expert team of investigators, and we have decided that the suspect obviously took T079 for a joyride and left his calling card until he could return. We think it possible that the batteries died before he made it back and then he (the suspect) not knowing what to do, fled the area. Therefore we find it advisable for you to make an extensive search 500 ft out from Obomination's last known resting place, the tank is likely to be found in that area. We have dispatched agents to Canada in an attempt to uncover evidence that would lead us to the suspect. We will inform you further as we progress in this area. Turkey trots to waterWhere is T079The world wonders Don't worry about the tank, John. I know of some excellent tank catchers. Here is one of their advertisements: Up for hire, 100% certified tank catching services. We have years of experience catching errant tanks that have stopped responding to the operator's commands. Just give us the description of the tank, the designation number, its speed, and general direction it was last seen going, and we will be back within a week with your beloved tank. We haven't lost one yet! All claims in this add may not be 100% true. Any damage sustained while catching the tank are the responsibility of the owner. We are not responsible for the loss of the tank in the event that we cannot find it. Claims in this ad may or may not be true. -- -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
