Any type of hose that works for your outer diameter and resists what you are scraping against it. Radiator, cooling, clear hose / tubing from Lowes/HD. I'm currently looking at buying cheap wheels that have rubber tyres, removing and retrofitting the rubber tyres onto my own wheels that I am actually happy with the look of. Just another option. A friend of mine suggested the rubber from bungee cords. I think that could be done with glue and then a little heat to seal the seam. John M.
