Re: [RE-wrenches] UL/CSA listed battery monitor?

Are their batteries UL/CSA listed?
Sent from my 'smart' phone so please excuse spelling and typos.

battery monitor?

I have a client who
needs a monitoring system for a 48V nominal NiCad battery bank
on a boat. It's 4 parallel strings of 6V batteries. (Not ideal,
I know) It's a passenger boat in Canada so all electrical
devices need to be UL/CSA listed. None of the Bogart Engineering
monitors are listed.
Any suggestions
appreciated.
Thanks!
Hilton

Has your area adopted NFPA 1? If so, setbacks are described in it.

Hello Wrenches,What are you all seeing required as setbacks post 2017?  I am
having inspectors vary between wanting a 3' lane at the bottom and sides to
allowing the array down to the gutter, and from requiring between 18" and 3' at
the ridge.

I would tell them to do it! I have heard people say that it could be
interpreted differently. I know of at least 100 of my offgrid clients have
claimed the credit and none have been audited since 2005. None before that

Dear Wise Wrenches,
We have a client who installed a GT system with us in 2015.  They now want to
install another system on the same house.  Will they still qualify for the 30%
ITC?  Or is that a one time only thing?
Thanks a Ton!
