[RE-wrenches] American Solar 270 watt form factor replacement request

2021-10-28 Thread Bill Loesch
Is anyone aware what module would fit into this "hole"? SolarEdge
system suffered a lightning hit.

Thanks in advance,

Re: [RE-wrenches] Enphase Monthly Reporting Software Update Remove Site ID in Subject Line?

2021-10-28 Thread Jason Szumlanski
That's probably Steve Kinerk. Really bright guy. I've interacted with him
before. I wouldn't want to share his direct contact info, however, as I
understand their need to limit direct inquiries to employees.

This is such a simple template change that you'd think someone could handle
in under an hour.

Sadly, a lot of Enphase's emails cause me problems. Every time they send
out a consumer marketing email our phone rings off the hook and we have to
field tons of irrelevant questions and provide education on why the shiny
new thing isn't right for them. And they need to drop that silly "Energy
Independence" score.

Thank you Chris for sharing your concern. I also noticed this change a couple
days ago. I'm working this internally and will let you know what I find out.

Five months ago, our Enphase monthly reports removed the site name from the
Subject line. After many, many emails and phone calls, today I was told their
software engineers were aware of the problem and they were not going to fix it.
They were working on "more important things", so too bad, I am sorry. We had
filtered the reports so they went directly to a customer's folder. This is a
step backwards for certain and seems pretty stupid from an installer
perspective.

I am wondering if anyone else has this issue.

All I could find out is that "Steve" at Enphase was in charge of this, but they
would not provide contact information because "He does not interact with
customers."
