[RE-wrenches] Key for SMA rapid shutdown controller

2021-12-14 Thread Dave Tedeyan
Hi all,
Does anyone have a source to get a replacement key for SMA's rapid shutdown
controller. I have someone who lost their key at some point, and then for
some reason initiated rapid shutdown. I have a spare to unlock it, but I am
wondering if it is possible to get one without getting the whole controller.
Thanks!

Yes, this change actually broke one of my filters, but I was able to fix
that quickly. It appears they listened to the feedback. That is wonderful.

I emailed Mr. Soleil this am as it looks like Enphase has fixed the
issue above.  I received two reports this am with the site id in the
Subject Line.  This is really helpful to us as we now can use our
filters to put these reports in the proper customer's file
automatically. Thank you Nick, and thank you Enphase.  Chris

Five months ago, our Enphase monthly reports removed the site name
from the Subject line.  After many, many emails and phone calls, today
I was told their software engineers were aware of the problem and they
were not going to fix it. They were working on "more important
things", so too bad, I am sorry.   We had filtered the reports so they
went directly to a customer's folder.  This is a step backwards for
certain and seems pretty stupid from an installer perspective.

I am wondering if anyone else has this issue.

All I could find out is that "Steve" at Enphase was in charge of this,
but they would not provide contact information because "He does not
interact with customers."
