Re: [RE-wrenches] Tech Support Issues with Sensata
We had one Magnum PAE 4048 have the frequency go high. It would not AC couple. When checking the frequency, it was out of range for the on grid inverters. So far, my tech support experience with Sensata has been good. The equipment I've installed has been problematic. I like the PAE system, but the inverters keep coming back off the wall. Re: [RE-wrenches] Tech Support Issues with Sensata
Those voltage and frequency variations are way out. No need for THD readings. You can't reliably run a household with that much variation, it will start letting the magic smoke out of many of the appliances. I'm not sure about a bad relay, I don't see how that would cause that variation. That sounds more like a cooked control board. I had lightning damage cause an inverter to put out 140 vac, while its onboard electronics read 120 vac. If it helps, I have a used MS 4024 PAE (very low hours) that I could send to you. Contact me off list if you want.
