Re: [realXtend] b2rex release 0.7: import capabilities
I'd like to know this too. Haven't had the time to try it out yet. Anyone? More information about the release at: https://sim.lorea.org/pg/blog/group:5/read/401/release-07 Specially, following pages of the manual detail the new capabilities: * https://sim.lorea.org/pg/pages/view/398/ (asset browser) * https://sim.lorea.org/pg/pages/view/400/ (character panel) For next release, I'll be focusing on real time synchronization of blender (to both naali and taiga) and realxtend, support for managing permissions, and adding support for blender2.5 and the new ogre exporter. Oh great that it does, without the dump it is pretty impossible to know what is going on in the native code.. perhaps you can submit an issue to the google code tracker and attach the dump there? I think the only place now where we can debug it now is on the machine at Evocativi/Adminotech where the build for the release was made, but hopefully someone there can check the dump on Monday. And/or copy the debugging support files over so can do it elsewhere too. Just installed 0.4.0 on win7 and have no probs, build mode works etc. Do you get a crash dump? Or errors in the console? The console output goes to a log file, or alternatively you can run viewer.exe from command line when the output stays in the console after the crash. Probably there is no relevant output, though, but only a crash dump or being able to reproduce the problem when running with a debugger would help. I'll test on more machines. - Peter ~Toni On Jan 25, 10:04 am, Toni Alatalo t...@playsign.net wrote: On Jan 25, 2011, at 2:47 PM, Peter Steinlechner wrote: Yes, I tested the builds you mentioned and it sounds like its the same issue you must have had. [realXtend] Re: Saving New Avatar/Attachments crashing constant
I just installed Taiga 0.2 and Naali 0.4 and seems that issue only become worse. It is absolutely impossible to save avatar to server with any attachments. Naali crashes and attachment is never stored. When I used Taiga 0.1.3 and Naali 0.3.4 the upload sometimes worked. Have anybody else tried saving avatar attachments to server with Taiga 0.2? Is it workable at all? I can include naali crashdump, but I believe this issue should be perfectly reproducable now. I think this is error in code, not misconfigured mysql On 8 фев, 21:25, CecilBergwin perfection...@blueyonder.co.uk wrote: Over the last few weeks or so I've tried many different kinds of *.mesh for avatars but with all the crashing I have been working with the standard realXtend avatar extensions for attachments etc. Sometimes when a Crash occurs, the actual upload and change of Mesh/ Attachment works but obviously I only find this out when I log back into Naali (after crash), so again I haven't got to the bottom of why this happens but will still try to figure this out, I also thought mm I wonder if its a mysql issue but I have full local access and MAX size set for any sql data, so again we can rule that out I think. Using current develop, which I'm pretty sure is unchanged related to this after 0.4.0 release. In fact, the av code hasn't been touched in several months (there's a new avatar project coming though but that's a separate topic). I have an avatar, create originally using the old nice avatar generator (which you can still use, the system in Naali is the same). It has two attachments. I tried deleting one of them, and saved changes to server, and it seemed to succeed. Am using world.virtualexpo.fi as authav service. Also saved the av to a local file, and used 'create new avatar' to load it again, and saved it to server. Now also loaded default_avatar.xml from naali data/ with 'create new avatar', saved it to server, then loaded again my actual av which has attachments, and again saving it to server worked. Am logged in to w.r.o:9000 which I think is Taiga 0.2.0, but that doesn't mostly matter 'cause the avatar data is communicated directly to the av server, the sim doesn't participate in that I think. Am using Linux now, but I doubt that makes a difference 'cause that code was developed on Windows (by Lasse and later the gui enhanced by Jonne N.). ~Toni On 8 фев, 21:25, CecilBergwin perfection...@blueyonder.co.uk wrote: Over the last few weeks or so I've tried many different kinds of *.mesh for avatars but with all the crashing I have been working with the standard realXtend avatar extensions for attachments etc.
