[realXtend] Meshes do not persist between two sessions in Opensim

2012-03-14 Thread Vaibhav Vaidya
Hiii all,

I am running RealXtend Taiga (Opensim) server and RealXtend Naali 0.3.4.1
client. I want to create a scene which has meshes, animated models, scripts
attached with the objects, etc. I am able to load mesh (.mesh format) in
RealXtend viewer, applied texture on it (.material scripts) and attached
animation (.skeleton file) to it, but the problem is that the meshes do not
persist in the world (i.e. meshes over the prims disappear and it shows
only the prims), once you log out and login again. Anyone faced the similar
problem?? What is the solution for this? or Is there a better way of doing
it?
Any help is appericiated...

Thanks,
Vaibhav Vaidya

We all use Tundra, which is a new version of Naali which does not need Opensim
(iincludes also server functionality).

If that has the features and functionality you need, it's a really nice,
mature, stable, simple, fast etc solution :)

[realXtend] 3D Internet Alliance meeting this Friday at Oulu, Finland

2012-03-14 Thread Jani Pirkola
Dear all,

Welcome to the 3D Internet Alliance meeting at Oulu this Friday, see more
data here: http://linkd.in/zs74ag
The event will be in Finnish, but in the future we will have more events in
Finland and abroads and in English too.

The event will be located in a movie theater where there is 3D equipment
available (Finnkino). We will try to connect our computers and DVI-HDSDI
converters and welcome you to see wonderful stereographic presentations
powered by realxtend! In case the hw technology fails, we will revert to
normal non-stereographic views, but still, it will be awesome!

Hurry up, the last day to subscribe to the event is today!

Best regards,
Jani
