Well, they (RT) can start by removing present bugs - outlined polygon has outline color alaways set to 'none (so you can see thru borders of polygon), drawing something bigger than your face makes rebol really unhappy so it crashes etc... Yes, this is bug. I've found this one 5 mins after uploading TS :-) It
was introduced with VID patch I have to investigate it.

Do you mean that background image? This is result of the bug -
background texture is not based on selected preset, but the 'default'
texture is used. And the 'default' texture is somewhat ugly (I think it
was first 'useable' texture made with TS) I have to change it I know
('metal is my favourite now :)
Hmm, [preview] button does not work too...
And [seed] field crashes whole TS...
Seems like I've still something to do...
I hope the next version will be available sooner than in half year (as
this one) because I just want to fix bugs, add missing features (disk
cache, preset management) and leave it 'as is' so I can focus on CASTRO
and other projects.

Hello, I'm working on CASTRO right now so I've uploaded work in progress. added and fixed: * does not crash on path (starts in local directory) * copy, delete, make-dir added (copying 5MB file takes less than second on P350 - good surprise for me) * four different languages!!! english, czech, german, spanish (starts in czech I think, just press [lang] button in upper left corner to select desired language - WARNING!!! All translation by me - it may really hurt!) known problems: * does not copy directories * deletes only empty directories * cannot rename/move files (if I want to rename file, do I have to copy it to same directory under new name and then delete old file or is there some easier way?) [REBOL] Will this mail arrive?
Hi, I've send two mails last week and they still didn't made it to the list. Nevermind, they were just some bug reports (sent to feedback as well so I hope they've made it at least there). Too much of clubs'n'pubs last week so I was at home yesterday evening and I was rebolling little bit. I still wonder why there's nothing like Norton Commander or Windows Commander for REBOL. Well, that's history. Now it's time for CASTRO! Yes, CASTRO, the [.r]ed Commander arrived right from Isle of Freedom to REBOL near you. BUT! It's just cca 4hours of work so it can do nearly nothing (as real Castro ;) You can: show pictures read and edit text files browse directories (surprise ;) you cannot: rename files delete files make directories (no problem to code it but it was 1:00AM and I'm waking up at 5:45AM ;) copy files (no problem for small files but copying some meg files using write/binary read/binary combo doesn't look very wise to me...) Why am I releasing such unuseful tool? 1. It's called CASTRO so you know what to expect ;-) 2. I need it shared and REB is THE easiest possibility :) 3. I don't know when I can enhance it as I'm pretty lazy and I like to start something but I've got problems with finishing 4. So anybody use it, rewrite it, enhance it... bye, reBolek PS (to Piss Someone ;-) : I still don't understand why US government is still boycoting Cuba and in the same time supporting China. Well, REBOL/Demo... I've been expecting that question... :) When I started RDC I thought I receive some demos or no demos at all. In the first case I'll publish them on dedicated REB, in the second case I'll make a hoax REB with my demos. But...I received one demo. So I was doubtful about RDC. Is the autor of the demo winner when there is no competition? Or should I release my demos as hoax to make some competition? How to solve this? And I made...nothing (well not the best solution at all - I know and sorry about that) So, Gregg, I'm glad to say that the winning demo is FIREWORKS and YOU - as the author - ARE THE WINNER! Me and Cyphre spend lots of nights on this and each one made cca 3 totally different versions of some different color/size/style text-editors, but every was far from perfect.
