Re: Mozilla Cookie Problem

2001-12-11 Thread John P. Verel

Just poked around a bit and found the following. Cookies were set to be
accepted from all sites, just like in Netscape. BUT: There is a tab
under the Cookie Manager, called "Cookie Sites", showing Site and
Status. It looks like at one time when Yahoo was wanting to set a
cookie, I said no. Mozilla appears to take that as a PERMANENT no, not
to be overridden by a subsequent yes. The way around this is to remove
the site fro the Cookie Sites list, thereby deleting the "site cannot
set cookies" status.

Haven't heard of this as problem, is it possible that you have cookies
disabled, under preferences/Privacy&Security/Cookies or .mozilla with
sending cookies to /dev/null ?

Mozilla Cookie Problem

2001-12-10 Thread John P. Verel

Evening. Running mozilla-0.9.2.1-2 here, via RedHat 7.2 distro.

I'm having all sorts of problems with sites that say I don't have
cookies enabled, when in fact I do.

I do not have this problem with netscape. Anyone know of this thing?

Thanks.
