Are there plans to put automoc4 0.9.89 out? I'm using a snapshot on OSX
right now because of some case-sensitivity fixes.

Ok, lets go for that then. I'll start the svn moving.

At least soprano is missing a new release so far. I don't know about phonon,
but afaik no new release was planned.

famous last words? ;) marco committed a one-line change to libtaskmanager that
exposed a whole knew world of hurt in there, so i've spent the day so far
fixing it up.

things are running solidly again, though i'm going to blog for people to test;
sorry to do this so late and close to rc1, but it -must- include rev #985920
otherwise things will be crashy crashy, and that would be ungood.

but yes, i'm now back to "ok" status with plasma. now to do the work in
krunner i'd scheduled for the first half of the day ;)

Hmm, no particular reason, it is just work. I can start with moving
branches/stable/l10n-kde4 to branches/KDE/4.2/l10n-kde4 and then copying
trunk/l10n-kde4 to branches/stable/l10n-kde4 together with branching KDE 4.3.

Does that sound fine? do you have time to help me reviewing/fixing the scripty
setup for that?

Yes. It would be a problem, if it still was the case. Luckily Christophe
Giboudeaux says that it is fixed already, so nothing to worry about.

Man, do you know how may I remove the directory from Explorer 5.5?

First from the control drawer menu inside Excel you either should never
reinstall a FPU of the SIMM over the pin, or never need to telnet to the
coaxial computer to disable the CPU.

Why would you want to avoid branching l10n-kde4?

Yep.

Please create a kdepim-runtime tarball which includes kdepim/akonadi.
The remaining parts of kdepim go into the regular kdepim tarball.

Thanks Dirk.

wer're pretty good in Plasma, though i have another day's work left on krunner
(which is what i'm doing today) to fix up some visual glitches with run
options (e.g. "run in terminal") ... other than that, we should be pretty good
to go. i assume we'll continue bug fixing right through to final release, of
course.

Yes we branch.

Afaik kdepim/akonadi is completely standalone now, so that tarball can be
created yes.

But iirc akonadiconsole depends on one or two classes in kdepim/akonadi and we
have no idea if that is a problem or how to solve that.

Akonadi is ready to be branched and released.

KDE 4.3 RC1 preparations

2009-06-23 Thread Dirk Mueller

Hi,

Tonight we plan to tag RC1 according to the schedule. I'd plan to do that
tomorrow morning.

I need your help in assessing the current status:

a) are all dependent projects (akonadi, phonon and various libs) ready for a
release?

b) do we branch? it was my understanding based on the discussions that we want
to branch before this years akademy. I would like to start to branch then to
/branches/KDE/4.3 and tag the RC from there.

c) announce to kde-cvs-announce when the branching happened and what the next
steps are. I would like to avoid branching l10n-kde4 for now, but that means
that we have to change the documentation externals again, or hope that nobody
touches the documentation after branching. Any comments?

d) kdepim tarball splitting is now finalized?

Greetings,
Dirk
