[Repeater-Builder] Re: Listening
Here's what you want. Scanner Recorder. http://www.davee.com/scanrec/ Hook your scanner/receiver to a soundcard and let it run. ScanRec will record the audio and Time/Date stamp when that recording was. Also works great for documenting LIDS or abusers of your machine. Will run on an old 486 or better. What troubles me is that my home setup is never going to hear what I would hear at the repeater site. I could put the receiver at the repeater site, but then how would I know what it's doing? Yahoo! [Repeater-Builder] Re: FCC Enforcment
The program was probably The Screen Savers on G4-Tech TV. It's definatly G4Tech TV though. Their website is here http://www.g4techtv.com/home.aspx Maybe they can tell you when it'll be repeated again. The presenter was Leo Laporte. Re:[Repeater-Builder] RC 210
The RC210 works really nice. Great for VoIP applications like IRLP as all the commands are 'locked' so you don't have the problems of DTMF commands clashing with the controller or the VoIP system. I've had my RC210 running on a 440 machine for about 3 or 4 months now without any problems. With EchoIRLP directly connected to the second port. Ken is easy to get ahold of for any questions that may need answered. I also found it easy to install and setup. Anyone ever used the arcom communications RC210 controller? Any thoughts on it? I'm really curious. I looked at the specs and it seems really slick for what it does. Any ideas? Thanks, Jed Yahoo! RE: [Repeater-Builder] Anyone out there using the Arcomm RC-210?
The RC210 works like a champ ! Great for VoIP linking as all the repeater commands are 'locked' so it's easy to setup IRLP etc without having to disable or reprogram a load of repeater commands. Ken is very receptive to questions also. Any of yooz folks using the Arcomm RC-210?? Looks like a great deal, for the capabilities it has. Let me know about any positives or negatives. (forgive me, Ken!
