Issue 3884 in reviewboard: New Review Request page should take a base commit ID
Status: Confirmed Owner: Labels: Type-Defect Priority-High Component-Reviews Project-ReviewBoard SCM-Git New issue 3884 by chip...@gmail.com: New Review Request page should take a base commit ID https://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=3884 What version are you running? 2.0.x What's the URL of the page containing the problem? /r/new/ What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Post a locally-generated diff against a Git repository on Bitbucket 2. See a file not found error. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? We should either propagate the error message stating that a base commit ID is needed and to use RBTools, or we really should offer a field to fill in (much like we do with base paths). Comment #11 on issue 2180 by tdrg...@gmail.com: Allow ownership of review requests to be claimed https://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=2180 It worked before, from the admin page, if you change the submitter. It's cumbersome, but if you have some code which was handed to you by your colleague who left for vacation, you had a way to continue the review conversation. Re: Issue 3824 in reviewboard: Git hooks not working
Comment #7 on issue 3824 by trowb...@gmail.com: Git hooks not working https://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=3824 the git-hook-check-approval hook verifies that there's an existing review request for the pushed change, which is listed in the commit message, and that said review request is "approved" as per the built-in (or extensible) approval rules. It's intended to be used in a pre-commit review model where changes are reviewed before they're pushed. If you're expecting the hook to create review requests for you, that's not the right hook. -- You received this message because this project is configured to send all issue notifications to this address. Comment #6 on issue 3824 by kdari...@gmail.com: Git hooks not working https://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=3824 Thanks, I have updated to 0.7.3 but now I get "review_request_id" as "0" all the time by default. Its not reading the commit message as defined in the function "get_review_request_id". Re: Issue 3877 in reviewboard: "Ship it" counts on the dashboard include multiple "ship it"s from one person
Comment #1 on issue 3877 by chip...@gmail.com: "Ship it" counts on the dashboard include multiple "ship it"s from one person https://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=3877 For now, this is intentional. Say I'm working with someone and have a Ship It, but I realize I need to make another change, so I upload a new diff. Seeing the Ship It counter go up on the dashboard is useful information, in that it lets me know at a glance that the new diff was also approved. We may want to rethink this, but only in the context of a revamped Ship It system. -- You received this message because this project is configured to send all issue notifications to this address. Issue 3877 in reviewboard: "Ship it" counts on the dashboard include multiple "ship it"s from one person
Status: New Owner: Labels: Type-Defect Priority-Medium New issue 3877 by buck.a...@gmail.com: "Ship it" counts on the dashboard include multiple "ship it"s from one person https://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=3877 What version are you running? 2.0.13. I've also reproduced the issue on ReviewBoard's demo instance (currently, 2.5 beta 2) What's the URL of the page containing the problem? http://demo.reviewboard.org/dashboard/ What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a new empty review. 2. Have a single user account give the review two "ship it!"s 3. View the dashboard. 4. Note that the dashboard shows a "ship it" count of two despite only one person having reviewed the code. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The dashboard should show the number of people who have given the review a ship it instead of the total number of ship its received. What operating system are you using? What browser? Linux. Firefox. Please provide any additional information below. A review might have multiple ship its from one person if the diff is updated significantly and someone that has already given the review a ship it gives it another after reading the updated diff. Other reviewers browsing their dashboard might choose to skip the review if they see that it has multiple ship its, even though there was only one person that reviewed it and gave it a ship it. -- You received this message because this project is configured to send all issue notifications to this address. Updates: Status: NeedInfo Comment #2 on issue 3862 by bar...@beanbaginc.com: Loading Patch hangs due to french local https://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=3862 Could you attach the patch file? We don't need the entire patch file, just the part that includes the revision headers, e.g. this part: Index: myPath/uIHM.pas === --- myPath/uIHM.pas (révision 300) +++ myPath/uIHM.pas (copie de travail) We need this to check the encoding of the file, because I can't reproduce this with a file encoded as UTF-8. In the mean time, if you use rbt to generate and post the diff (e.g., with rbt diff), it should work as expected as it will use an English locale. -- You received this message because this project is configured to send all issue notifications to this address. Issue 3876 in reviewboard: rbt post + git-svn: CRITICAL: object of type 'NoneType' has no len()

RHEL/CentOS 6 only ships with git version 1.7.1, which is missing the "-c name=value" option that RBTools uses to ensure that path values with unusual characters are quoted. It looks like this was added as a side-effect of "Disable the HTTP cache by default" (commit 03dbc9e3f2e1f8d0cd73c1941d9a5d8ed9c123bf). It doesn't seem to be related to the rest of that patch. In the short-term, I can patch this back out of the EPEL release of RBTools, but I'm not sure what the correct upstream solution should be here. Without context for this change, I'm not sure how bad the effect would be. Please advise. Comment #3 on issue 3852 by trowb...@gmail.com: Allow reviewers to remove themselves from CC for a review https://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=3852 Right now no, but there's also no way to know who's just willfully ignoring it. Issue 3871 in reviewboard: rbt post hangs when in a post-commit hook

What version are you running? 2.6.32-279.el6.x86_64 What's the URL of the page containing the problem? Our local svn server. What steps will reproduce the problem? I am creating a remote svn post-commit rbt post hook. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I am expecting my diff to get uploaded to the review board server. The rbt post process hangs. It stays running. What operating system are you using? What browser? CentOS with kernel 2.6.32-279.el6.x86_64 Please provide any additional information below. From what I gather - the problem probably comes from the fact that the svn diff is used without the --non-interactive flag in combination with a username and password for the svn passed as arguments (with --svn-username and --svn-password). This leads to a dialog asking you whether to store the password unencrypted. I tested it with the --non-interactive flag passed to svn diff (svn.py:286) and it works as it should. -- You received this message because this project is configured to send all issue notifications to this address.
