Thanks for the report, we're going to add that in our bug tracker Tuleap
to see if we can reproduce the problem in our lab.

Note: as you, I don't see why 't' option help to fix your issue...

It's fixed after I added the 't' option to the dial command. It's only an issue 
with ring (I double and triple checked) so I don't really understand what's 
going on.
Anyway, working now :)

Two ways:
- from asterisk itself: go to asterisk console and enable sip debug logs to see 
what's happening when calling with Ring.
- from Ring: take a look to your syslog messages and find dring debug line when 
it output SIP sdp. Check what's kind of audio codec choosen after negotiation.

Another idea:
If your server acts like RTP stream proxy, check that nothing (port range?) is 
blocked: you can use the wireshark application on both ends for that.
