Did you tell rdalsaconfig not to use the card?

Do you want to use both cards via jack? Or do you want to stop using the
Dante card and begin using the ASI card?

I don't know, or don't recall how to get rivendell to start jack seeing two
cards via alsa. I do know how to get rivendell to actually send audio out
of two cards via jack.

I should be in #rivendell irc at freenode most of the day.

[RDD] RDAirPlay Crash Revisited

Once again RDAirPlay crashed completely after loading the new log for today, 
and I had to connect and re-start RDAirPlay. Below is the end of the operations 
log for 20200921. Can anyone see anything that would cause this crash? It 
appears nothing played after the legal ID (60003), though it did chain to the 
0922 log. It also seems odd to me that the log for 9/21 continues until 3 AM on 
9/22. This seems to be true for all the operations logs. Can anyone suggest 
anything? Thanks!

  Can you please post the last 15 minutes of the actual 9/21 log and
the first 15 minutes of the 9/22 log?

  My operations logs all run from approximately 03:00 to 03:00 daily,
so I don't think that is unusual.  It would be good to get to the
bottom of your problem, because even if a log mistake is causing the
problem, it should not cause a crash of AirPlay.

[RDD] Basic GPIO via Serial Bus -- Airplay Starts

Thanks to Lorne and others who helped me with being able to use the old
Serial Port on my machine for a "jock button box."  The idea is to press
one button for Airplay to stop after playing the song now on air (Macro
cart PM Set Mode-Manual), then press a second one to start back up (Macro
cart PN Start Next -  SP Sleep for one second -  PM Set Mode-Auto).  On
Panel buttons it works fine. But I'm not quite there with the physical
buttons.

I've confirmed in GpiMon that I am getting closures and I have assigned two
of them to the desired Macro carts. But RDAirplay isn't seeing them.

Clearly somewhere in the configuration, there is a way to engage Airplay to
pick up and act upon a GPIO closure. I just haven't found it. What am I
missing?  Thanks as always.

Mark, check the naming of the log in RDADMIN > Hosts> RDAIRPLAY

and RDADMIN> Manage Services > Service < this is the one to be very 
careful to check


it looks legit    Production-%m%d   but make sure there aren't any 
lazy spaces in there.


Not sure where you are getting these logs from I am used to seeing CHAIN 
TO . Are these logs not generated in Rivendell?
