At WCFR in Springfield, Vermont, we've been using a Henry Radio USB Matchbox II. It's been reliable and the sound quality is superb. I have built two machines running liquidsoap via JACK. One feeds Streamguys for WUMB's Blues Channel, an Internet-only "side channel" operated by WUMB at UMass Boston; the other, for WATX in Hamden, Connecticut, actually uses liquidsoap as an STL, feeding the station's AM transmitter via an Icecast server. It's been on the air for a year or so. Rob -- Не думай что всё пропели, Что бури все отгремели; Готовься к великой цели, А слава тебя найдёт. I'm currently testing a wheatnet IP driver for Linux. I think it's in beta version right now. It is functional with Jack as an interface between Rivendell and the alsa loopback device used by the driver. It was quite unstable during my tests. I had the opportunity to test it with a Wheatstone Blade V3. I really look forward some stabilization on the driver because the complete wheatnet IP is promising. I also plan to test open source AES67 drivers, but it relies on a very precise PTP network clock source I don't have. I'm doing a loopback in alsa to feed butt, running on a VM, handoff to a decoder through a local icecast server. We've got some buffer glitches at times but I believe that to be our decoder hardware.
