[RDD] *** position out of bounds on signal: ...
rdairplay is kicking out these error messages. Almost always it is complaining about two very short cuts in one cart which act as a divider between nearly all of our other cuts during playback. But I have seen the message about a few other cuts as well. I shortened one of the cuts slightly and that changed the "Pos: " (position?) to be a slightly smaller number. So... it seems to imply the problem is at the end of the cut. Any ideas about what this means? [RDD] Position out of Bounds on Signal
Hi I got the following error message today "Position out of Bounds on Signal" in the rdplay log. This caused rdairplay to stop playing audio. I have seen this come up on the Rivendell mailing list in the past a couple of times but I can't see a explanation for this anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas? [RDD] Position out of Bounds on signal
Hi all, Anyone else come across any Position out of Bounds on Signal errors while running rdairplay? Most of the time when this happens nothing seems to change as far as on air audio is concerned although I'm fairly convinced some songs are ending early with the next cart firing. However recently I'm having a different problem. Air play is showing as playing, the VU meters are moving as normal but audio stops coming out of the sound card. This is on Riv 2.5.0 with a simple ALSA fed setup with Riv the sole owner of the card (nothing fancy like JACK etc). The full message is like the following: 06/07/2013 - 03:34:45.884 : *** position out of bounds on signal: Line: 108 Cart: 601210 Pos: 45469 *** Any info would be appreciated. Hello, Logcheck keeps throwing this error up on our automation box but I've never heard anything untoward on air. As for the audio config, we're using a fairly basic ALSA setup as well (though as the card isn't 100% compatible with Rivendell, we do have DMIX in the way. Regards, Marc Steele.
