Re: [sage-combinat-devel] Sage-Combinat poster
Hi Hugh! Thanks for proofreading the poster! I am still not yet sure about the proper translation for mutualisation. Mutualization is indeed not appropriate, but cooperation conveys a slightly different meaning. Looking at: http://www.linguee.com/french-english/translation/mutualisation.html it seems pooling would be the right term. Would that make sense to you? Btw: I replaced your suggestion practical by sound and practical (granted sane was a bit aggressive for other systems :-)) Thanks again, Cheers, Nicolas -- Nicolas M. [sage-combinat-devel] questions on sorting of terms
Hello, I would like to change the default ordering of terms in some Modules with basis, for the purpose of changing leading_term. More precisely, I would like to use my own term-orders for some free modules on LabelledOrderedTrees, a bit like the choice of term orders on polynomials algebras I have not been able to find if there is already a mechanism to do that. Any idea ? Cheers, Frederic -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups sage-combinat-devel group. Re: [sage-combinat-devel] questions on sorting of terms
Hi, I think what you're looking for is the parameter ``monomial_cmp`` of combinatorial free module. When you create your module, you can give a comparison function between elements so that they are sorted the way you want. Thanks Nicolas! The poster looks good. Andrew On Monday, 14 January 2013 07:50:55 UTC+11, Nicolas M. Thiery wrote: Hi Anne, On Sun, Jan 13, 2013 at 09:21:10AM -0800, Anne Schilling wrote: Very nice! One comment: perhaps it would be a good idea to put sagetex on the server, so that people without it can still latex the source. They are already in the poster's directory, so in principle the compilation should work as is (it worked for Florent). Cheers, Nicolas -- Nicolas M.
