[sage-devel] Re: Sage in Mac OSX 11.11 (El Capitan)

2015-07-14 Thread Volker Braun
Looks more like a bug in OSX's dynamic linker, but you could try to compile
Sage from source if you are feeling adventurous.

Can you make a ticket with minimal example demonstrating bug?

You are speaking in your own name only. You are not the Europeans
Devs, are are not entitled to speak in their name.

This is right, there was an ambiguity in my statement. It could, with
a pinch of paranoia, be misinterpreted as you suggest. A statement
better representing what I meant is:

``Many European devs, including me, have ...''

But how many is many? Perhaps At least one would be safer. Which
reminds me of the old joke:

John, Nicolas and Nathann are travelling through Scotland on a train when
they go past a black sheep in a field. John says Look, all Scottish sheep
are black!. Nicolas says No -- I think you mean *some* Scottish sheep
are black. Nathann objects and insists on his version: There exists at
least one sheep in Scotland and at least one of sides is black.

John

PS Nathann, this is a *joke*. No offence is intended.

 Cheers,
 Nicolas

[sage-devel] Ukrainian interface Sage

2015-07-14 Thread Елена Соменко

I have an idea to create Ukrainian localization of Sage. It will be useful
for many Ukrainian users of this program. But I have some questions and
need some help in this work. Can someone to prompt me, please?

What language file I have to translate? Where I can find it? And then,
after translation of this file, what I have to do? Where I have to send it
that Ukrainian interface will appeared in the next versions of Sage?

Thanks for any help.
