The Managing Committee met at the residence of the President on 26th November,2003 at 6.15 pm. Present were Mr. Alan Durante, Mr. Nelson Fernandes, Mr.Baptist de Souza, Mr. Bosco DGama, Ms. Joyce Remedios, Mr.Jose Remedios, Mr. Micheal Saldanha, Mr. Cajetan Mathias, Ms. Rachel Fernandes, Ms.Betty Saldanha. Mr. Clarence was a special invitee. AGENDA To read and confirm the minutes of the previous meeting. Matters arising from the minutes. Review of investments and to decide thereon, and pass the required resolutions accordingly. A. O. B. Item 1. The minutes of the previous meeting were read out by the Secretary and unanimously passed and confirmed. Item 2. The president informed that he had sent a condolence letter to the family of late Mr. Alfie Dsouza and also shared a reply received from his wife. The touching and grateful acknowledgement of Mrs. Dsouza was put on record. Mr. Micheal Saldanha reported that the Willington Gymkhana had been booked for the 25th January, 2004 for Rs. 5000/- Mr. Clarence would conduct the Choir for the Mass. The following rates were decided upon for the Social; Guests- Rs. 125/-, Members Rs. 70/-, Children below 12 years Rs. 25/- Item 3. RESOLUTION: RESOLVED THAT with immediate effect any two of the following signatories, jointly will be authorized to operate the Unions Bank accounts. Further resolved that all other signatories hereby stand deleted. RESOLVED THAT the Unions account with Indian Bank, Mahim, A/C No. _ be closed and the balance be transferred to Development Co-operative Bank, Santacruz west, A/c No.__ FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Secretary, Mr. Bosco DGama and the Joint Secretary, Ms. Betty Saldanha are authorized to intimidate the banks accordingly. Item 4. The resignation of Mr. Luis Fernandes as treasurer was accepted.
