I got it on holiday in England in some little newsagent. They only had one copy and I didn't see any anywhere else. I was hoping to buy a few to keep, but it appears I was lucky to get just one. Apparently the circulation was down to about 3000 by this time, although I can't remember where I heard that (might actually have been on this list). Simon, I take it Future are still holding tightly to the copyright on the YS issues? I know there are various bits and pieces of YS stuff on the web, but it would be nice to have full issues up. I'm still looking for old YS's if anyone has any they don't want... Future haven't made any official statement regarding YS copyrights. They haven't said no, but then they haven't said yes either. Most YS writers had a contract that gave Future first serial rights (i.e. YS printed their stuff first) but after that, copyright is owned by the witers themselves, hence my attempt to get hold of as many as possible. -- --- Nick Humphries - [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- -- The Your Sinclair Rock'n'Roll Years -- --- http://www.the-den.clara.net/ys/cover.htm --- ---

I got mine on either the 18th or 19th of December '89. I'd rang a day earlier to moan about the delays and ended up being assured by Mr Miles that 'Your equipment will be with you tomorrow'. I would have to dig to the back of the attic to find the original letter. I've got that somewhere too. If you can't find it I'll try to dig it out and do the old OCR bit with it. IIRC, it began something like:' It takes a certain amount of faith...' Faith! :-) Dave
Scart stuff
I think it's a bit of a cheek that the SAM Elite is being sold as a SCART only machine - I take it it comes with a scart lead then mr Bob? Now we now why the deal on new PSU's involves us returning our old shagged out ones... Peace, Love, Kisses... I'm still looking for old YS's if anyone has any they don't want... Gavin Simon, do we still have your old copies lying around in the attic? If so, are you planning to keep or get rid? Maria. Possibly - in one of the boxes... ...but I've got all the ones I was in here. Also, thing is, there's lots of odds and sods in that box, so I think I'd have to sort through them. Nick - my recommendation (and I checked with Jonathan Nash on this, and he agreed) is just to go ahead and put it up. We all love seeing our stuff actually being read out there (which is really surprising, and I occasionally get fan mail!?!?!??!). If someone objects, pull their work, but I guarantee you that they won't. Unless they're a real bumbling a$$ho!3. Simon __ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
