And since SCADS was being given away as PD for ages on BB's say-so
that means that Brenchley probably owes him a small fortune!!!

Small claims court time perhaps

Join the queue with the peope still waiting for the SAM Clocks - and myself

Yeh, I would have been well chuffed with that many sales on a Sam :)...
It was a fair price too... £24 or something when it first came out?

I never made much, never expected to either.

Shame.. scads was pretty good.

I've made a grand total of about 10 quid...

(Mind you, I probably made about 300 out of my Spectrum)

more info: only about 200 copies were sold... he set fire to the remaining
800 manuals as they were taking up about half of his garage !

you would think BB would have made use of these stored manuals before
printing his own if he had permission dont ya?

what else like this went on? ive missed like the last 7 years of SAM gossip

odds and ends for grabs....

2000-07-03 Thread Andrew Gale
Hello,

Whilst having a clear-out, I've found a few other odds and ends
which I want to dispose of - if you want any of these things then
let me know, otherwise they'll end up in the bin!

1 x SAM (i.e. BBC) parallel printer cable

2 x spectrum joystick interfaces (1 is a kempston, 1 is something
else) -- useful for the edge connectors?

1 x spectrum pcb - this has the ROM, speaker, and heatsink missing,
and the coil near the power input is a bit mashed up. I've no
idea whether this works or not (with a rom, of course!) but the
ULA, ram chips, UHF modulator, and everything else is intact, so
might be handy for spares.

Drop me an email if any of this is of use to you and I'll pop them in
the post (would prefer UK...)

Andy
