Erm, any idea about numbers through the door? Doesn't look to be too many from the pics or are they not representative of the whole day? Just back from the show myself now ... after a 3 hour train journey! What fun... Photo 13 shows the second 'Sam In A Can' I have built - this one was a request from David Ledbury as he liked the look of my first one - the Sam PCB is hidden by a Quazar Surround and a SID Interface. Also in the 'can' is a disk drive, PC Keyboard Interface, Atom and a CF Interface. Quickly glancing through Nev's photo's I seem to have managed to evade the camera! I've never seen any shows with packed turnouts on their first innings. I believe the next will be much busier. Besides - it's quality, not quanity, that counts! :) > I see that at least Mr Piggot made some effort with his posters! Of course he did! (So did Chronosoft also - and also Simon Goodwin!)

Was hoping to be there but too many things happening, i will be trying to attend the micro mart fair though. 3 weeks is coming along slowly but finding it difficult to fit all i want into a sam due to the amount of graphics it requires. Look forward to the next sam show hopefully i can be there with a few new games (i have 3 on the go currently) See you all soon, i hope. The venue will be >at the Alec Bussey Scout Centre off Rowington Road, near Grove Road and the Norwich Bus Station. Open from 10am to 4pm. Entry free. Refreshments available. Free car parking. There is a map available (under 'travel') on the show website http:/ >homepage.ntlworld.com/speccyverse/orsam.htm A variety of traders will be present. Visitors from as far away as Germany and Cornwall have said they will be attending. The show will opened by Councillor Steve Land, of the Green Party. There w >ll be a raffle, and a bring and buy stall. While ORSAM 2003 officially only supports the Spectrum and SAM range, Z88 and ZX81 will be there unofficially. If next show happens, it may widen to officially include all Sinclair (and related) 8-bit fo >mats. Thanks to everyone who got involved, it wasn't exactly a roaring success but I had fun, in a bizarre sort of way. I suppose I'd better get the retro-excuse in now - I was in Bristol trashing a rather large crappy network and replacing it with a nice shiny new one. And, as if fate enjoys depriving me of beer, I will be trashing a similar LAN in Liverpool on the 30th November when the MicroMart show is on. Arse candles. Dan.
