· 0-1+ years experience using SQL, Unix, and shell scripting

*Role Overview* :

· Reporting directly to QA Lead, conduct feature, system
integration testing and understand SQL, rapidminor (data science), Hadoop,
angular web driven and database testing.

· Co-ordinate with performance, automation and load testing teams
for the delivery of testing.

· The team is multi-disciplined consisting of Business Analysts,
Tech Leads, Product Owner, Data Modelers/Developers, QA and a SCRUM Master.

· Candidate must possess a thorough understanding of Agile
Methodology, web application development source code (i.e. angular), Data
science, Hadoop, Sql server.



*Essential Functions of the Job*:

· Participate in Release/Iteration Planning

· Ensure User Stories are testable and measurable

· Assist in estimating task effort and dependencies

· Thorough testing of the features (technical) and also integration
testing.

· Responsible for team commitments within the Sprints

· Communicate (verbal and written) with business, development, and
senior management, on the progress of the Release Period project goals,
objectives, and testing efforts.

· Prepare Test Estimates

· Identify and communicate risks and issues

· Ability to escalate accurately, timely and efficiently

· Create and review test plans and test cases ensuring alignment
with standards

· Prepare and manage QA Project Plan

· Verify the availability of the QA environment for testing

· Prepare metrics and report QA findings

· Prepare QA Project Closeout Report

· Ensure that all system tests are successfully completed and
documented and all problems are resolved

· Support all quality initiatives that are implemented during each
Sprint

· Initiate Risk management and escalation

· Assist in the development of quality assurance and testing
policies, standards, and procedures

· Conduct tests and analyze results to ensure that software meets
or exceeds specified standards and/or client requirements

· Adhere to QA & Test processes to support global QA Testing
activities

· Work closely with off-shore employees and 3rd party vendors to
deliver projects to time, cost and quality requirements

· Ability to work within a high performing Agile environment

· Must have Knowledge and hands on experience of SQL scripting

· Work with upstream and downstream application teams to create &
execute test cases

· Provide appropriate knowledge transfer to offshore testers to
assist in efforts

· Ability to build good relationships both within the QA & Test
team and with other teams

· Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle including
Functional & Non-Functional Test Phases Knowledge and



*Skills Requirements*:

Senior ETL/Datawarehouse QA Analyst in the scope of a large Data
Warehousing project. This person will be responsible for creating and
executing end-to-end test plans in an Agile setting to ensure the delivered
solutions comply with applicable quality standards and perform as expected.



Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

·   Create and execute end-to-end test plans for our new Enterprise
Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions from transactional
back office to the Data Warehouse (databases, data marts and cubes) in an
Agile environment

·   Data reconciliation

·   Transformation according to business rules

·   Checking against legacy warehouse

·   Integrate with an Agile Scrum team

·   Effectively communicate with the rest of the Scrum team (Product
Owner, Developer, and Business Analyst)

·   Estimate workload for tasks as part of the Release and Sprint
Planning

*Must Have Skills:*

·   7+ years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance on Enterprise

Write advanced SQL and Stored Procs to QC data layer of the application.
Write and execute scripts for parsing, loading, transforming data from
large files of different formats to compare with their source or
destination.
Analyze file upload/download specs, application’s configs, Prod Data etc to
script the creation of Test Data Files.
Provide accurate and timely logging of issues to the bug logging system.
Accurately report findings to the Lead and Manager for all the assigned
tasks.
Interact with internal users to obtain and convey concise problem
information in a professional manner by phone, email, and in person.
Provide extensive support for operational and shakeout tasks.
Qualifications:
At least a Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of proven manual software
testing experience in a functional QA team
Strong DB, SQL, file parsing/loading/transformation scripting skills are a
must for this position. Any candidate lacking evidence of such skills will
not be considered.
3+ years with SQL/PL-SQL and expertise in writing complex SQL Queries.
