Ability to implement datastage jobs in both Parallel and Server Mechanism

Ability to work on various stages Join, Aggregator, Sort, Copy, Merge, CCD,
Schema File, Pivot, Lookup and Transformer Stages

Hands on experience in Data Masking

Extensively knowledge on file system - datasets, complex flat files,
sequential and Hash files and Routines

Good Knowledge of Data stage architecture and hands on experience in
Datastage v8.1, 9.1 and Datastage v 11.3

Experience in using UNIX Shell scripts

Ability to work in ETL with multiple source and target databases such as
DB2 Z/OS, DB2 UDB, Netezza, Oracle Stages

Hands on experience in Web-Service Client and Transformer in ETL

Vast knowledge on scheduling tools like Autosys and Control M

Hands on experience in various data stage development and data migration
upgrade

Extensive knowledge on DDL and DML scripts across the databases

Ability to develop and maintain applications using COBOL, DB2 and JCL.

Ability to develop and analyze complex store procedures using DB2.

Ability to work with the business and  to come up with designs for new or
existing DB2 objects.

Working knowledge of scheduling using Control M. Experience in  using
endeavor , Optimization Service Center, BMC Utilities, Visual Explain.

to perform these duties with very limited supervision.  He/she will need to
perform code reviews for junior and mid-level developers.



In addition, the senior level DataStage developer will develop UNIX Shell
scripts, common UNIX routines and other UNIX code, in order to automate the
batch processes through Autosys.  He/she will be responsible creating
Autosys Jobs.  The senior DataStage developer will work with the ETL Manager
to document the process flow being implemented in Autosys.
